Randy Pope grew up in Marietta, Ga. and graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1972. Later he studied photography at Valdosta State College, became a freelance photographer and was a member of the National Freelance Photographers Association.

Randy began working in photography, parallel to a career with General Motors Corporation. In 1978, he was a member of the Georgia Professional Photographers Association and opened a photography studio in Fitzgerald, Ga. He worked there until moving to Tennessee in 1989 where Randy joined the Tennessee Wedding and Events Specialists Association and is currently an active member.

He has had work displayed in professional photography salons and his trademark photo, ‘On the Right Track’ has been published in a coffee table book, titled ‘Mysterious Motion’, for its creative and artistic look.

While Randy specializes in portrait, wedding, modeling and youth sports photography, he also works on commercial projects. Pictures can be provided for websites and flyers for advertising and promotion. Full coverage is offered for banquets or any other type of event. As well as owning and operating ‘Just Portraits’, Randy is currently the staff photographer for ‘Step Inside’, a new and impressive magazine, that is circulated to homes in Spring Hill and Thompson Station Tennessee.
